When something like this happens in Indonesia, people sometimes ask, "How far from Jakarta is this?" Well, this incident happened about 2,500 miles east of Jakarta; but, I have often used this same airline and same type of aircraft when flying from Medan to Nias. So far, we always arrived safely.
